The building was ahead of its time in the fact that it had a Mixed Uses – commerce, residences and offices, a model that is now being tried to be implemented all over Israel. The building was built in the 1950s in the Brutalist style and had innovation, ideology and boldness in it.
The late Marian Greenhouse, who founded Greenhouse Architects, a graduate of an architecture school in Germany, was part of a stream of architects who worked in Israel in the 1950s.

Generation’s X and Y campuses
As part of the Real Estate Conference in Eilat, Danny Greenhouse participated in a committee on the X-Generation and Y-Generation campuses, which referred to the fact that the Generation Y, the Millennials, as they are called, is not accustomed to rejection and is accustomed to receiving the services he requests, here Accordingly, the offices designed for this generation must put the employee at the center and ensure that the office provides the employee with not only a workplace but also a complementary experience – such as up-to-date technology that gives value to the employee. the job.
Most of the work done in the following OPEN SPACE complexes to utilize the office space in the best possible way has the loss of personal space. Generation Y needs experiences and so office space should give them such an experience – the possibility of collaborating among themselves but also some private space.
Soon we are already getting the Z generation to work and here we are talking about mixing usages. This generation is even more accustomed to the high availability of services but it also wants convenience. This is a generation that is both practical and realistic in its questioning approach, how it generates both livelihood and interest. New office projects that have created real-life content for the generation that includes high availability, ease of use for work and, not least, for leisure and family life are more successful than others by providing not only real estate but a holistic product in the right mix.
